Nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH)

Ni-MH batteries are designed for applications requiring enhanced energy density or power, maintenance free operation and excellent life duration.


Ni-MH is easy to handle, easy to fit and quickly operational, providing instant and totally reliable service, useful benefits in remote locations with difficult access.

Lithium-ion batteries (Li-ion)

Saft's lithium-ion technology for emerging high end market.

Li-ion technology offers a number of advantages for industrial battery users such as high power and energy density – providing savings in both space and weight, zero-maintenance, long calendar and service life, operation at both high and low temperatures and state of charge and state of health indication.

For Telecom networks: Intensium 48 V battery systems

Intensium 48 V battery systems have been developed specifically to enable telecoms network applications to exploit the exceptional power and energy density of lithium-ion technology. This new range is composed of Power and High Energy systems: Intensium1, a 1 U rack, and Intensium 3, 3 U rack.
